FAQ’s (Frequently Asked Questions)

What are cannabinoid analyses?

The results shown above illustrate the concentrations of cannabinoids — or the active components of cannabis — as conducted in a 3rd party laboratory setting. These results ensure that products contain the correct amounts of cannabinoids per their claims from an independent source.

What are the various compounds tested?

Each batch of our formulas is tested for a ‘total cannabinoid analysis.’ The analysis measures the concentrations of common cannabinoids (including CBD) as well as those found in small quantities within the cannabis plant — each of which contains its own unique, medicinal potential.

What do the figures represent?

Within each analysis, the concentrations of cannabinoids are described both as a weight (or percentage of the total volume) as well as its conversion as mg/mL. This ratio is used within our formulations to ensure the proper amount of cannabinoids are infused into our creations.

At K.C.CBD, we are continually attempting to expand the number of available lab analyses across the entirety of our catalog. Although comprehensive results are available for our acclaimed CBD oil (which is utilized in all of our formulations) the small-batch and handcrafted nature of our creations limits our ability to provide testing exclusive to each. Nonetheless, terpene analyses for our cannabinoid-rich oils will soon be made available in addition to total cannabinoid analyses. With our pursuit towards efficacy and transparency being an ever-expanding goal, this page will be subject to change as future results are conducted.
